Nancy Porter Productions would like to thank the Nichols House Museum
for welcoming the cast and crew of "Louisa Alcott: The Woman Behind Little Women"
for three days of filming in May 2007. The NMH and its fabulous interiors were
used as the settings for three historical locations, two of which were actually
on Beacon Hill (the Bellevue Hotel, and Louisa Alcott's residence on Louisburg Square).
The documentary/drama, a collaboration between longtime friends Nancy Porter and
Harriet Reisen, and is scheduled for broadcast in Fall 2008 on the PBS series
American Masters. For more information about the film, and the companion book
to be published by Henry Holt & Company, please visit here.
